Common Ground’s main location is located on the second floor of the Queen’s Centre, featuring a large seating space with lots of natural lighting, perfect for a group study session or just grabbing coffee with a friend! Common Ground, or CoGro as it has been lovingly nicknamed, offers a quality menu of food and drinks at prices reasonable for your student budget.

Common Ground is run “by students, for students”, meaning our staff and management teams are comprised entirely by students! From music to menu, we know what students are looking for and we are constantly striving to exceed your expectations! 

CoGro features a variety of options, ranging from sandwiches to smoothies to specialty coffee drinks. For those looking to sit down and enjoy their meal, our space features an expansive seating area. For those on-the-go, our quick service and pre-mades are the perfect option. Common Ground’s atmosphere attracts a great mix of Queen’s students and our smiling staff will keep you coming back for more!

Our second location, The Brew, will be located in the new John Deutsch University Centre, expected to open in Fall 2024. More details coming soon.
